University of Salford

The University of Salford arose out of the Industrial Revolution and the demand for new technical skills; it is now at the heart of 21st century creativity and learning. Staying true to the rich industrial heritage of Salford, its practical courses are designed to equip students for the challenges of the working world. In 2012, the University of Salford announced a partnership with the UK’s biggest arms company, (BAE Systems), in order to work on the Gamma Programme, which aims to develop “autonomous systems”.
